Our streets are full of different variety of inexpensive, colorful, attractive, dangerous street food yet. Can we consider it part of our culture or simply reflections of our economy?
Tough call. It does both to be precise. Because it's pinoy to have or to try Balot. It is part of the identity of the Philippines to drink beer San Miguel. And do not try to deny ever try fish balls or squid street vendors. It's part of life in the Philippines to try these things when you 're there. But secondly, it shows how bad things are. Although street food reflects the economy, what matters to me is the culture of the place, not wealth. I sometimes eat food from the street when I'm here because only the Philippines. To eat in some lechon little shop is incredible compared to eating lechon at a club in high fantasy guests. Eating these foods is sometimes critical to really understand how the country is without going into all policies.
