Color Cherry

I had maple cabinets built in the home that we are building. I am totoally devastated in how they came out. They are blotchy. Some parts are extremely dark and some spots are really light. How do you achieve an even looking from the factory look? I have to do something!
Although it will only even the finish some Try a coat of varnish stain .apply with a sponge roller then smooth out with brush PS try inside the door first to see if you like result
