Is Ajax as safe for baby hair as Dawn liquid dish detergent?

My baby got vaseline in his hair and nothing was working so I read online to use liquid dish detergent. Then after reading more I found a lot about Dawn being safe but I used Ajax, now I am worried I did the wrong thing! Help!!!

When in doubt about a product or treatment or medication you have used on a child , call poison control for advise. They will tell you if it is safe or what to do if it is not. Always have the phone number by your phone and make sure you have the product with you.
Vaseline works well for cradle cap and can been washed out with baby shampoo. you may have to wash it a couple of times.
